Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard and PayPal.

Your payment card will be charged upon order.  Purchases through PayPal you will be charged immediately.

Receipt of Order Confirmation

You will receive an order receipt confirmation email as soon as you have placed an order. Please keep it in a safe place as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence.  If you do not receive this email please contact hello@artisanabode.co.uk, so that we may investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

Pricing

Prices include VAT at 20% and exclude delivery charges unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to alter prices at any time. It may be necessary to change prices either up or down, from time to time, including any alterations to the rate of VAT. 

Reproduction

Artisan Abode takes the utmost care to ensure that product information and colours are accurate. Due to the limitations of the photographic process, goods may not be exactly the same colour as shown.

Product Information

We do our very best to ensure that all items you see are as close as possible to the photographs shown, but, since they are not mass-produced, and many of them are either handmade from natural materials or hand-finished, slight variations in colour and size may occur from time to time. We hope that you understand this and appreciate the skill and craftsmanship required to make such high quality products.

Cancellation

You are entitled to cancel your contract if you wish providing you act within 3 working days of receipt of the goods.

If you wish to cancel your contact prior to despatch, please contact us via the contact details on the home page.

If your order has already been despatched please follow our returns information.

Availability

All items are subject to availability.

We will inform you as soon as possible if goods you have ordered are not available.

Liability

Artisan Abode cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with instructions specifically stated on the Website or in any promotional material. When you place an order to purchase a product from Artisan Abode your order represents an offer to us to purchase a product which is accepted by us by way of a dispatch note included when you receive your order. Any products on the same order which we have not confirmed as accepted in such dispatch note do not form part of the contract.

Artisan Abode endeavours to check the accuracy of the information on this site. However, Artisan Abode does not warrant that such information will be error free and the user acknowledges that information, products and services published on this web site may include inaccuracies and typological errors. If the goods do not on receipt by you substantially meet the description on this web site you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us.

How do we collect information?

We obtain information about you when you use our website, when you place an order, request a catalogue, join our mailing list, enter a competition, submit feedback or apply for a vacancy or telephone the company.

What type of information do we collect?

We might collect the following personal information your name, address, email address, email click through information, IP address, and information regarding what web pages are accessed and when.

If you make a purchase online, over the telephone or for a mail order from a store, your card information is not held by us, it is collected by our third-party payment processors, who specialise in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions, as explained below.

If you have applied for a job, we will collect your CV, covering letter and contact details.

Why is the information collected?

We use the information we hold on your records for operational purposes, for example processing your order, dealing with queries, tracking deliveries, reviewing past purchases.
Your order history enables us to tailor our product range and marketing information (e.g. promotions and special offers) to your requirements.
If you opted in, we also use the information to keep you up to date with Artisan Abode: mailing new catalogues and sending emails as appropriate. You can opt-out at any time.
For purposes of quality control and training, calls and emails may be monitored.

How long do we retain your data?

We review our retention periods for personal information on a regular basis. We are legally required to hold some types of information to fulfil our statutory obligations. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as is necessary for the relevant activity, or as long as is set out in any relevant contract you hold with us. Who has access to your information?

When you are using our secure online payment page, placing an order by telephone or mail order through a store, your order is processed by a third-party payment processor, who specialises in the secure online capture and processing of credit/debit card transactions. Security Precautions

When you give us personal information, we take steps to ensure that it’s treated securely. Any sensitive information (such as credit or debit card details) is encrypted and protected with the following software 128 Bit encryption on SSL. When you are on a secure page, a lock icon will appear on the bottom of web browsers such as Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Non-sensitive details (your email address etc.) are transmitted normally over the Internet, and this can never be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. Where we have given (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our websites, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. Web Analytics Cookies

We use web analytics cookies to gather information on how visitors browse our website, including most popular web pages and how long visitors spend on the site. Competitions

General

Competitions are only open to UK residents aged 18 or over, excluding employees and the immediate families of Artisan Abode, their agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.

By entering any competition, you are agreeing to be signed up to the Artisan Abode database. You may unsubscribe at any time.

All prizes are indicative and subject to variation.

Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.

The winner(s) will be selected in a random draw conducted by Artisan Abode the next working day following the competition end date.

The Promoter is Artisans and Artists Limited. Registered in England and Wales Company Number: 7261185.

The winner will be contacted within 7 days of the draw. In the event that the winner has not responded within 14 days of notification then the Promoter reserves the right to reallocate the prize to a reserve winner.

Please allow up to 28 days for delivery of prize. The Promoter cannot be held responsible for any delays or damages occurred during transit.

The prize must be taken as stated and no compensation will be payable if a winner is unable to use the prize as stated. The winner will be liable for all costs and expenses not stated relating to claiming or partaking of the prize.

The promoter may substitute items for items of an equal or greater value if, for any reason, the original item is unavailable.

By entering, winners agree that if they win they will participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by The Promoter or its agencies.

By entering the promotion entrants confirm that they have read and agree to be bound by these terms & conditions and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the promotion. Failure to do so will result in the forfeiture of the prize. No correspondence will be entered into.

The Promoter or its agencies accept no responsibility for any loss, injury or damage suffered through acceptance of the prize.

The Promoter or its agencies will not be responsible for the non-inclusion of entries as a result of technical failures or otherwise, including any such failure which is within the control of The Promoter or its agencies. Proof of submission of entry is not proof of receipt of entry.

The Promoter reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any person it finds to be tampering or to have tampered with the operation of the promotion or the Artisan Abode website, or to be acting in violation of these terms and conditions.

To the full extent permitted by law the Promoter will not accept liability for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from this promotion beyond its reasonable control.

Artisan Abode never passes on your email address to third parties.

Social Media

1. We love hearing about your Artisan Abode purchases and reposting our favourites to our social media channels. To alert us of your post, upload your photo to Instagram, Facebook or Twitter tagging @artisanabode.co.uk or #artisanabode.co.uk. If your photo is chosen by our team, you will receive a direct message from our official account asking for your permission to publish your photo under the #artisanabode.co.uk hashtag. Please reply with Yes to give your full consent, agreeing to our T&CS below and Privacy Policy.

2. You retain the legal ownership of any photo that you upload. However, in order for us to repost your photo you grant to Artisan Abode a non-exclusive, perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, assignable, sub-licensable licence to use the photo. We can use the photo on Artisan Abode’s webpages and for any use in our advertising, marketing and promotional materials without compensation or prior notice using any media or distribution methods. Artisan Abode may use, edit, alter, reproduce, translate, publish, or create derivative works at our sole discretion.

3. If your photo is chosen, your username will be displayed alongside content re-posted by Artisan Abode. By submitting your photo, you grant Artisan Abode the right to use your username, real name, image, caption or other identifying information in connection with the use of any of your photos displayed on Artisan Abode’s channels. By agreeing to these T&CS, you are consenting to Artisan Abode’s collection and processing of your personal data as described in Artisan Abode’s Privacy Policy.

4. By submitting your photo, you warrant and represent that (i) you own the rights to the photo or, if the photo is subject to third party rights, that you have all required licenses, rights, consents and permissions to publish the photo and grant the necessary rights, and (ii) you are over 18 years of age.
